Q: What is the longest book you’ve read? What are your favorite 600+ page reads?

A: Hmm...I don't really keep track of my page count too often. The first fairly lengthy book that comes to mind is The Host by Mrs. Meyers(page count about 600 according to Amazon). I know I've read some long ones in school too,but I honestly can't think of any English novels. I don't know if it'd count here, but I've studied the Ramayana, an Indian holy book, and that is said to be around 1,500+ pages. What are all of your favorites?

I've got to admit, I started The Host, but got bored fairly quickly and had to give up!

I've heard mixed reviews about The Host. Some people seem to love it, some people seem to hate it. A bit like the Twilight Series really! New follower. Here's mine: My FF

:o I can't believe you couldn't think of anything longer than The Host, but OH IAN. :D (Well aside from the Ramayana. I like that word.)

I love all the Harry Potters and many of those are over 600 pages. I read The Pillars of the Earth and it is over 1000 pages. I read the sequel, A World Without End and I believe that is over 1000 pages, too. If you haven't read Pillars of the Earth- I highly recommend it!

The Host was a great read. So engaging that I totally didn't think of it when answering this question. It doesn't *seem* that long!

Thanks for stopping by and following my blog! I followed ya back!

If you consider the fact that the version of The Lord of The Rings I read was the one that’s one book with the 3 parts inside (1202 pages in the brazilian version), that would be the longest book I’ve ever read. But if you consider series to favorite 600+ page reads, hands down, Harry Potter. Not so much for the story, but for the feeling it brings me every time I think about it.

I'm a new follower, btw!
